Rape Drilling
After a few years of not growing any rape we thought that with the conditions at the end of August it would be a good opportunity to plant straight into a grass field that was returning to the arable rotation after 4 years. The grass was sprayed off 24 hours before. Then we used the Tempo precision planter to place seeds in 5 cm rows. The establishment was successful so hopefully we will have some rape to harvest next year.
