Maize drilling
This spring saw the arrival of a new Vaderstad Tempo precision planter.
We will be using the machine to plant a whole range of different crops. Sugar Beet, Maize, Soya and rape. We are working with a group of other farmers and the local AD plant (Anaerobic Digester) to grow, harvest and deliver maize that will be used to produce gas that will then be converted into electricity to be used in the grid. As well as helping out at harvest, we will be using the Tempo to plant all of the maize.
